I think I have been at Chestnuts longer than any of the other residents. I am very happy here. The staff are very kind. I enjoy the food and all the games and activities. We have a lot of concerts too which I like very much. We have a lovely Garden Party in the summer, with food and entertainment; friends and family are also invited. Today the sun was shining so we all sat in the garden with the music playing eating ice-cream. I also have made a lot of friends here, so am very happy. Resident at Chestnuts

Who would have thought that when my wife entered Chestnut Manor in January that a care home could be so much fun. Thank you Rosie, and please thank all the others for making the Bollywood themed open day such a great afternoon.Husband of Resident

I cannot praise the Chestnut Manor Care Home more highly for the care they have provided for my wife who suffers from dementia. She was admitted to Chestnut Manor in January this year, 2023. Since then she has received outstanding care and understanding from everyone involved in her well-being. All the staff, carers ad nurses, their colleagues who provide the catering and daily activities, the receptionists and others whose tasks make the Chestnut Manor such a welcoming Care Home. Their professionalism, tolerance, understanding, friendly greetings, nothing seems too much trouble and always with a smile. This care has brought great relief to my wife and all our family. A credit to a well- run home and its management. Husband of Resident.

Chestnut Manor has to be the best home we have seen. Everyone is helpful, kind and professional in the extreme and made us so welcome. It has excellent and unobtrusive security, a very pleasant atmosphere and in addition is scrupulously clean. It is such a relief to us that our dear friend is in such excellent capable hands.Friend of Resident

I found Michelle and the team to be compassionate and caring with a genuine desire to make a difference. I observed Michelle and really wanted you to know that her sensitivity and respect towards service users was of an exemplary level. It is obvious that there is an unwavering commitment to the people within their care.Nurse at Redbridge Memory Service

The team were very knowledgeable on all aspects of residents care, but in particular their eating and drinking care plans as well their own preferences and difficulties they may be experiencing. Most importantly they treated the residents with such care and dignity e.g. bending down to their level when talking, having patience and engaging in conversation. I go into a lot of care homes and work with a lot of care staff, and the level of care they were delivering was outstanding.Speech and Language Therapist
